Marie Merritt - Work Detail: Fruit of the Vine

I found this lovely antique pitcher at a yard sale several years ago. The muted colors, the crazing of the glaze and the unusual shape appealed to me. The vintage crocheted doily and the fresh grapes couple the old and the new.
